Our pets mean so much to us.  They are our children, our friends, our loved ones.  We tell them our secrets and they in turn love us unconditionally, no matter our faults.

When a loved one dies it leaves an empty, hollow spot in our hearts.  It doesn't matter if this loved one is a 2-legged one or a 4-legged one, the hurt is the same.  They wait for us, on the other side and we too await the day when we can run to them once again together, never again to part.
