Crossed Paws has
had a great year thanks to donors, supporters, volunteers and
adopters like YOU! We love what we do. We are extremely
grateful to all of our supporters. As an organization that
survives solely on donations, our appreciation for your support is
undefinable in words.

THANK YOU ALL THE VOLUNTEERS, SUPPORTERS, DONORS, ADOPTIVE
FAMILIES, BUSINESSES, AND EVERYONE WHO HAVE HELPED THESE PETS FIND
FOREVER HAPPY HOMES. IT MAKES ALL THE HARD WORK WORTH IT WHEN
WE SEE THESE PICTURES OF OUR BELOVED PETS THAT WE HAVE ADOPTED FROM
OUR SHELTER.
THANK YOU!
VOLUNTEERS: We love volunteers. Without them our work
could not be possible. Whether it be to help clean, do
laundry, walk a dog, socialize a dog, help with the
grounds-keeping, answer the phone, hold a fundraiser, scoop litter
boxes, assist with shelter updates...we love and need it
all!
FOSTER: Sometimes we have to say no to taking in a dog or cat
solely due to lack of space. Being a foster could save many
lives. We receive requests from people almost every day who
need help with their pet, or a neighborhood dog, puppies, adults,
seniors, etc. Being a foster parent can be very rewarding,
especially for those animals who have never lived in a
home. Watching them come out of their shells, trust people,
learn ordinary household noises are not scary, and to simply 'be a
dog' or 'be a cat' is magical to watch and be a part of. Yes,
being a foster can be hard, especially when you have to say goodbye
because they have been adopted by a forever family. But just
think of what would happen to that foster animal if you didn't take
the time and provide a space in your heart and your home for
them. You saved a life! That makes up for any heartbreak
watching them go to their new home.
ADOPT: The ultimate goal with every animal in the shelter is
to find a forever home where they can spend the rest of their lives
being loved, taken care or and as part of the family. People
say rescued dogs are 'greatful' and we believe it too. Over a
million dogs are euthanized every year due to
overpopulation. Perfectly healthy, adoptable dogs, euthanized
for space. Please adopt, don't shop!
